Accept Online Payments with Stripe Integration
TreatsMe now supports online payments via Stripe — one of the world's most trusted payment platforms. You can now collect deposits, prepayments, or full service fees directly through your booking page, before the client even walks in the door.
No more chasing payments. No more no-shows with nothing to show for it.
Step 1 — Connect Stripe from Your Dashboard
Before connecting, your Payments tab in TreatsMe looks like this — ready and waiting for you to link your Stripe account. Hit "Connect Stripe" to get started.
Step 2 — Complete Stripe Onboarding
Clicking "Connect Stripe" takes you to the Stripe onboarding flow. This is a standard verification process required by Stripe for all businesses that accept payments.
You'll need to provide:
- Business details — your business name, address, and type
- Personal identity verification — government-issued ID (passport or national ID card)
- Bank account details — where your payouts will be sent
- Tax information — required by Stripe for compliance
The process takes about 5–10 minutes. Stripe handles all the security and compliance — TreatsMe never stores your sensitive financial data.
Step 3 — Stripe Dashboard: Fully Activated
Once your identity and business are verified, your Stripe account is fully active. You'll have access to the full Stripe dashboard where you can track payouts, view transaction history, issue refunds, and manage your balance.
Stripe pays out to your bank account automatically on a regular schedule (typically 2–7 business days depending on your country).
Step 4 — Payment Settings in TreatsMe
Once Stripe is connected, your Payments tab in TreatsMe unlocks a full set of payment options:
- Require prepayment — clients pay the full amount when booking
- Require a deposit — collect a partial amount upfront to secure the appointment
- Cancellation fee — charge a fee if a client cancels within your notice period
- No-show protection — automatically charge clients who don't show up
You control exactly what you charge and when. All settings can be adjusted per service or applied globally to all bookings.
